Johnny Thorington

Johnny Thorington is the Vice President of Product Management at Opengear, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, Johnny served in various leadership roles at ADTRAN from 1997 to 2004, including Engineering Manager and VP of Products. They also held multiple executive positions at Synapse Wireless, Inc. from 2020 to 2021, culminating as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer. In addition to their industry experience, Johnny earned an MBA from Vanderbilt University in 2009, and has degrees in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
