Amit Dhodapkar

Amit Dhodapkar is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at OpenGov Inc. since September 2023, Amit leads a team focused on creating a cloud platform that enhances government services using advanced AI and cloud-native technologies. Prior to this role, Amit spent over six years at Microsoft, where responsibilities included managing engineering for key products such as OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, as well as leading innovative areas like Syntex and Viva Connections. Amit also co-founded WizCal, an AI assistant for meeting scheduling, and has held various engineering roles at Microsoft, contributing to the development of Office for Android and IPTV solutions. Amit holds a B. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and completed high school at Kendriya Vidyalaya.
