Bill Leece

Bill Leece has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bill currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at OpenGov Inc., a billion-dollar unicorn funded by Andreessen Horowitz and other prominent venture firms. Prior to this, they worked at Ditro.io as an Advisor and Wearer of Various Hats, where they facilitated the discovery, understanding, trust, and collaboration on data assets.

Before joining OpenGov, Bill worked at Google as a Senior Product Manager for three years. Bill also served as a Board Member at Cinarra and held various roles including Vice President of Product Management and Director of Product Management.

Bill has experience in consultancy as well, having run their own consulting side business called Imperion Consulting. Bill worked as a Managing Director, providing consulting services to private equity firms, a green tech company, and a major Thai bank.

Earlier in their career, Bill worked as a Software Engineer at Medtronic and held the position of Director of Product Management at Payzy Corporation B.V. in the FinTech industry.

Bill's work experience is complemented by their time spent "Walking The Earth," where they engaged in various activities, including language learning, academic pursuits, trekking, and socializing.

Bill Leece has obtained an MBA degree from USC Marshall School of Business. Bill also holds an MEngSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from UNSW. In addition, Bill has completed two undergraduate degrees. Bill has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and another BS degree in Chemistry, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
