Maggie Chao

Maggie Chao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Maggie started their career as a Bookkeeper at Coremetrics in 2005, where they handled billing, generated invoices, and responded to billing inquiries. From 2011 to 2015, Maggie worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer, creating visuals for the big data and high-tech world. Maggie then transitioned to a role as a Graphic Designer and Production Manager Assistant at Apparel Promotion, where they designed online sales and marketing collateral and produced marketing materials.

In 2014, Maggie joined BlackBerry AtHoc as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where they took responsibility for full cycle accounts payable, managed 1099 filings, and handled vendor inquiries. Maggie continued in accounts payable roles, serving as an Accounts Payable Analyst at Lucid Motors in 2018. Later in 2018, they joined OpenGov Inc. as an AR Staff Accountant.

Prior to all of this, from 2016 to 2018, Maggie worked as an Accountant at Nominum. In this role, they contributed to accounting operations and financial processes. Overall, Maggie has gained extensive experience in accounting, graphic design, and production management throughout their career.

Maggie Chao pursued their education from 2009 to 2012 at California State University - East Bay. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
