Dheeraj Prasad has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 2001 with the establishment of Andale India Operations as the General Manager. Dheeraj then served as the Country Manager for Technical Support at Symantec from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they joined Microsoft as Director & Head of Education Business, and later as Director of Developer Support. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the Managing Director of BraveNew in India. Dheeraj Prasad then worked at MetricStream, where they held various roles including Vice President of Human Resources, Customer Advocacy & Production Engineering, Senior Vice President of Global Talent, and Managing Director of India & Global Head of Human Resources. Dheeraj subsequently served as a Strategic Advisor at Mantra4Change from 2020 to 2021, and as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Regalix from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President at OpenGrowth, beginning in 2022.

Dheeraj Prasad completed their education in a chronological order. Dheeraj attended Frank Anthony Public School from 1970 to 1982. Dheeraj then pursued a Bachelor's degree in History from Delhi University between 1982 and 1987. Following that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell during the years 1985 to 1987. Most recently, Dheeraj completed a Doctor of Business Administration program in Micro learning and knowledge developing a growth mindset amongst millennials for a future ready career from SP Jain School of Global Management, attending their campuses in Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, and Sydney from 2018 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Dheeraj has acquired several certifications, including RoundPegg from RoundPegg and IBM E Commerce and Oracle Developer from IBM and TGK Ltd, respectively.
