Atul Tulshibagwale is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in identity management and security. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Identity Management Community Group at the OpenID Foundation since January 2020, Atul has been instrumental in facilitating discussions on critical identity management topics. In addition, Atul holds the position of CTO at SGNL, focusing on modernizing identity management. Previously, Atul contributed to Google as a Software Engineer in various roles, including work on the BeyondCorp API and merging legacy identities for Google Nest. Past leadership roles include co-founding Trustgenix and LinguaNext, directing engineering at Hewlett-Packard, and holding senior positions at VeriSign. Atul's educational background includes advanced degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University and initial studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
OpenID Foundation
The OpenID Foundation (OIDF) promotes, protects and nurtures the OpenID community and technologies. The OpenID Foundation is a non-profit international standardization organization of individuals and companies committed to enabling, promoting and protecting OpenID technologies that provide the internet identity layer and API Protection. Formed in June 2007, the Foundation serves as a public trust organization representing the open community of developers, vendors, and users. OIDF assists the community by providing needed infrastructure and help in promoting and supporting expanded adoption of OpenID. This entails managing intellectual property and brand marks as well as fostering viral growth and global participation in the proliferation of OpenID.
