Don Thibeau

Don Thibeau is a seasoned professional in the field of identity management, currently serving as a University Lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin within the Center for Identity since January 2017. Thibeau is the Founder and Board Advisor of The Open Identity Exchange, a non-profit organization focused on developing and governing trusted identity systems globally. Previously, Thibeau held positions such as Executive Director and Board Member at the OpenID Foundation, promoting open standards in identity ecosystems. Additional roles include FDX Fellow at the Financial Data Exchange and Co-Chair of the OASIS Electronic Identity Credential Trust Elevation Methods Technical Committee. Thibeau has extensive experience in business development and executive leadership, having worked at notable companies like TransUnion, Qsent, and LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
