Kristen Trout

Kristen Trout is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, securities, and public company reporting, serving as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel & Assistant Secretary at OPENLANE since February 2016. In earlier roles at OPENLANE, Kristen held the position of Vice President, Corporate & Securities Counsel and Corporate Counsel, focusing on M&A, capital markets, strategic investments, and compliance. Prior to joining OPENLANE, Kristen worked at Krieg DeVault LLP as Director of Legal and Associate, specializing in business and financial institutions, also gaining experience as a summer associate and legal intern at various organizations. Kristen earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a B.B.A., summa cum laude, in Marketing and Management from Jacksonville University.
