Rodney Poling

Rodney Poling has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rodney is currently working as the Vice President, Product Engineering at OPENLANE since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Sr Director, Service Operations at KAR Global from March 2021 to April 2022. Before that, they held various positions at KAR Global, including Director of Service Operations, Manager of Site Reliability Engineering, and Principal Architect.

Rodney also worked at Genesys and Genesys | Interactive Intelligence as a Principal Cloud Architect, where they designed and architected global infrastructure solutions. Rodney also worked at Astute Solutions as a Principal Architect and Portfolio Manager for customer solutions. In addition, they served as the Director of Product Development at Pro OnCall Technologies and as a Product Manager at Astute Solutions.

Rodney's early career includes experience as a Regional Manager at Avtex Solutions, LLC and as the Director of Operations at Interactive Solutions International, LLC.

Rodney Poling attended Franklin University from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Information Technology. Rodney also holds additional certifications, including the PLUMgrid Certified OpenStack Networking Associate (PC-ONA) from PLUMgrid Inc., obtained in 2016, and the Interaction Center Certified Engineer from Interactive Intelligence, obtained in 2009.
