Erik Norberg

Erik Norberg has held a variety of roles in the field of silicon photonics. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and Optoelectronic Device Engineer at the University of California, Santa Barbara. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as an Optoelectronic Device Engineer and Senior Optoelectronic Device Engineer at Aurrion. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Hardware Engineer, Silicon Photonics Design and Hardware Engineering Manager, Silicon Photonics Device Design at Juniper Networks. Finally, they have been the Director of the Silicon Photonics Platform at OpenLight since 2022.

Erik Norberg earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara in 2011, and an MSc in Engineering Nanoscience from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University in 2008.
