Si Zhu

Si Zhu has held various positions in the field of Photonics since 2013. In that year, they worked as a Summer Intern at the University of California, Berkeley. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and then as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UC Santa Barbara. In 2019, they were a Visiting Scholar at ShanghaiTech University. Currently, they are a Photonics Development Engineer at OpenLight since 2022.

Si Zhu has a three-stage education history. From 2011 to 2015, Si Zhu attended Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Photonics. From 2015 to 2020, Si Zhu attended The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Currently, Si Zhu is a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Santa Barbara, where they are studying Integrated Photonics.
