Volkan Kaman

Volkan Kaman has been working in the engineering and product management fields since 2000. Volkan began their career at Calient Networks as Director of Product Management and Chief Systems Architect. In 2009, they joined Aurrion as VP of Engineering and was later acquired by Juniper Networks in 2016, where they held the role of Sr. Director of Engineering. In 2022, they began working at OpenLight as VP of Engineering.

Volkan Kaman completed their B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Cornell University between 1991 and 1995. Volkan then attended UC Santa Barbara and obtained their M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering in 1997. Volkan continued at UC Santa Barbara and earned their Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering in 2000. Prior to this, they attended Robert College from 1984 to 1991.
