Alexey Naumov

From start-up CTO to senior iOS software engineer, Alexey Naumov has made a name for himself in the tech industry.

Born in Russia, Alexey moved to the United States as a young adult to pursue their passion for computer science. Alexey started their career as an iOS software engineer, working for ChimpChange LLC and then Change Financial Limited. In January 2019, they became the CTO and co-founder of Hamew, a new photo-sharing app.

As CTO of Hamew, Alexey was responsible for coordinating teams of developers, designers, business analysts, and other cross-functional members to guide the project from start to finish. Alexey was also the main contact point for key financial and analytical questions received from venture capitalists.

In September 2019, Alexey left Hamew to join OpenPhone as a senior iOS software engineer. Alexey continues to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of what is possible with mobile technology.

Alexey Naumov has a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Software engineering from Omsk State University (OSU). Alexey also has a certification from Udacity in CS344: Intro to Parallel Programming.
