Sean Wasu

Sean Wasu has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sean'smost recent position was Director of Finance & Corporate Development at OpenRoad Auto Group Ltd. since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Mustang Survival from December 2017 to November 2019. Sean also held the role of Director of Corporate Finance and Business Planning at BC Clinical and Support Services from November 2014 to November 2017. Before that, they worked as the Manager of Financial Planning & Services at Telesat from September 2008 to October 2014. Additionally, Sean has experience as a Manager of Finance at Corel Corporation from April 2006 to September 2008 and as an Operations Finance Partner at Hydro Ottawa from March 2004 to March 2006. Sean has also worked at CN, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Financial Partner, Audit Advisor, and Financial Analyst, between 1999 and 2003. Sean started their career as a Business Analyst at TELUS in 1998. Stepping into various leadership and managerial positions, Sean has gained expertise in finance, corporate development, business planning, financial planning & analysis, and more.

Sean Wasu obtained a B. Tech in Electronics from Guru Nanak Dev University from 1987 to 1991. Sean then pursued an MBA in Finance at The University of British Columbia from 1997 to 1999. Finally, they completed a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant degree in Accounting at CPA Ontario from 2005 to 2008.
