Sharon Rupal has extensive work experience in the field of human resources management. Sharon worked at OpenRoad Auto Group from November 2007 to February 2020, holding various positions such as General Manager and Area General Manager. As Director of Human Resources, they were responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including talent management, workplace safety, training, and development. Sharon also played a significant role in creating the company's community giving program, OpenRoad Cares, and served as Chairperson of the Board of Directors. Prior to their time at OpenRoad, they worked at Hudson's Bay Company from 1998 to 2007, where they held roles such as Regional Human Resources Manager and Assistant Regional Human Resources Manager.
Sharon Rupal attended NADA Academy in 2015, where they pursued a degree in General Dealership Management. In addition, they have also completed a course in Human Resources from BC Human Resources Management Association.
