Helga Matthews

Helga Matthews, MA, serves as the Sr. Freight Manager for Truckload & LTL at OpenRoad Global, where Helga successfully established and manages the Glendale branch since May 2019. Prior to this, Helga worked as the Transportation Manager for Truckload, LTL, and Global Logistics at Greenway Transportation Services, Inc., focusing on optimizing freight transportation for diverse industries across the United States. Helga also held the position of Operations Manager at NIVLA, LLC, leading a significant operational turnaround, and previously worked as a Production Supervisor at the United States Postal Service, overseeing a large team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Helga holds a Master of Arts in Modern Chinese Foreign Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from the University of Arizona, along with certificates in Mandarin Chinese from Beijing Language Institute and National Taiwan Normal University.
