Dermot O'Gorman

Dermot O'Gorman serves as the CEO of WWF-Australia since July 2010, where responsibilities include strategy ideation and organizational transformation, growing the team from 85 to 185 and increasing the annual budget from AUD$17 million to $62 million. O'Gorman has been a key figure in advancing innovation within WWF, leading multiple initiatives such as Panda Labs and the koala carbon project. Additional roles include Chairman of the Board at OpenSC, Advisory Council Member for ImpactNFT Alliance and Luc Hoffmann Institute, and member of the Global WWF Network Executive Team. O'Gorman has also held non-executive positions such as Director at the Australian Council for International Development. Educational qualifications include degrees from Stanford University, IMD, University of Cambridge, and the London School of Economics.
