Tonela Fontaine has a diverse and extensive work experience in the sales field. Tonela started their career at Informatica in 2009, initially working as an Inside Sales Development EMEA. Tonela'smain responsibilities included generating sales pipeline, building relationships with prospects, and qualifying leads. Tonela later transitioned to the role of Sales Operations - Messaging Unit, where they managed sales operations activities for the Messaging Business Unit worldwide.
In 2012, Tonela joined smartTrade Technologies as a Sales Executive and eventually advanced to the role of Sales Director. Tonela'swork involved providing liquidity management systems to banks and developing multi-asset dealing platforms. Tonela handled multiple asset classes and was responsible for connecting with numerous venues globally.
Currently, Tonela works at Opensee as the VP of Sales. Opensee is a cutting-edge Fintech company that offers a data explainability platform to financial institutions. Tonela'srole involves addressing key challenges faced by various professionals in the industry, such as Treasury, Risk, Finance managers, Quants, Traders, and Technology Professionals.
Tonela Fontaine obtained a Master's Degree in International Marketing from ECE INSEEC GROUP Business School in Lyon, France, from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, they completed a Higher Diploma in International Business at Lycée Saint Louis in Saint Etienne, France.
