Steve Hafner

Steve Hafner is the CEO and cofounder of KAYAK, where leadership has been instrumental since January 2004, following the company's acquisition by Booking Holdings in 2013 for $2 billion. Additionally, Steve holds an executive position at OpenTable, aiding CEO Debby Soo in reimagining the dining experience, and serves as a board member at SeatGeek, where collaboration with founders Jack and Russ focuses on innovating event ticketing. Past contributions include advisory roles at the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth College, and board positions at Blade LLC and Trulia. Earlier in Steve's career, positions included EVP at Orbitz, a project leader at the Boston Consulting Group, and a consultant at Marketing Corp of America. Steve earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern University and holds a BA in Economics and History from Dartmouth College.
