Dharhas Pothina

Dharhas Pothina serves as the Chief Technology Officer at OpenTeams since May 2025 and previously held the same role at Quansight from April 2019 to April 2025, where responsibilities included leading a services and consulting arm and managing projects exceeding $10M annually in open-source scientific Python and Jupyter ecosystems. Prior experience includes positions at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) from March 2014 to April 2019, focusing on technical program management, AI/ML prototypes, and leading significant research projects with an annual portfolio of over $8M. Additional experience spans from December 2003 to March 2014 at the Texas Water Development Board, where contributions included developing a comprehensive water data aggregation website and pioneering AWS utilization within the organization. Educational achievements include a PhD in Civil Engineering, a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
