Tim Hunt

Tim Hunt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tim is currently the CEO and Applied ML Architect/Engineer at Addavox, a new venture. Tim is also an Applied AI Architect/Engineer at OpenTeams and Quansight.

Prior to their current positions, Tim served as the CTO at inWhatLanguage from 2014 to 2020. During their tenure, they managed the development team, sales, and operations. Before that, they founded and served as the President of Quick Request, where they designed and developed software systems, managed sales and operations, and expanded the company's reach to six countries with 14 resellers in the first year.

Tim also held the position of President at Go Natural CNG, where they expanded the company's strategy and secured significant contracts with major players in the industry. Tim was the General Manager at Certiport North America, where they successfully turned around a declining sales organization and achieved 17% growth in just eight months. Earlier in their career, Tim founded and served as CEO of Lingotek, raising venture capital and developing language search engine and translation software.

In addition to their corporate experience, Tim has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah and as a Founder/Venture Capitalist at University Venture Fund, where they assessed risk, analyzed market opportunities, and provided strategic consulting to funded companies.

Tim Hunt has a diverse education history. Tim obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Asian Studies from Brigham Young University in 1987. From 1987 to 1989, they pursued a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics at the University of Utah. In 1999, they attended Salt Lake Community College to study Advanced Mathematics. Later, in 2000, Tim Hunt earned an MBA with a focus on Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Utah. Continuing their education, Tim enrolled in multiple nanodegree programs at Udacity. In 2019, they completed the Nanodegree in AI Programming with Python and the Nanodegree in AI Natural Language Processing. Additionally, in 2022, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Machine Learning with TensorFlow Nanodegree from Udacity.
