Garrett Oetken

Garrett Oetken is a technology leader with extensive experience in software development and research. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Opentensor Foundation since 2024, Garrett also co-founded Quantum Star Technologies in November 2017 and holds the position of Chief of Research and Development. Prior to these roles, Garrett was the Lead Software Engineer at Safeguard Equipment from July 2018 to September 2020 and worked as a Software Developer from August 2016 to October 2018 while being self-employed. Additionally, Garrett contributed to the field as a Computer Graphic Generalist from 2010 to 2016. Garrett holds an Associate's degree in Computer Science from North Idaho College and furthered education at the University of Idaho from 2016 to 2020.
