Carlos Fernandez has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Carlos started their career as a Productor at MakerBot, where they worked on various stages of product assembly and performed quality checks. Carlos then progressed to roles such as Mechanical Technician, Staff Mechanical Technician, and Senior Mechanical Technician.

Later, Carlos joined Teddy Robotics as a Mechatronics Engineer, where they designed and managed the documentation for PCBs. Carlos also had the opportunity to demonstrate demos at Makerfaires.

Currently, Carlos is working at Opentrons Labworks Inc. as a Senior Robotics Test Engineer. In this role, they design complex test scripts, manages large-scale testing projects, and creates custom fixtures for testing.
