Kevin Bampoe has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Kevin started their career as a Summer Research Fellow at Upstate Medical University in 2011, where they conducted a study on the effects of Ondansetron on QTc prolongation and arrhythmia. Kevin then worked at IMR Test Labs as a Mechanical Technician, responsible for testing mechanical properties of metals. Kevin joined Quest Diagnostics as a Medical Technician, performing routine lab tests and manual procedures.

In 2018, Kevin became a Law Clerk at Meggesto, Crossett & Valerino, LLP MCV Law, gaining experience in the legal field. Kevin also worked as a Legal Intern at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they gained exposure to legal processes in the pharmaceutical industry.

Kevin expanded their legal knowledge by becoming a Senior Research Associate at the New York State Science and Technology Law Center, conducting research and participating in various projects. Kevin also served as a Student Attorney at Syracuse University College of Law - Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, assisting clients with legal matters.

In 2020, Kevin joined the Pandemic Response Lab as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, contributing to the lab's efforts during the pandemic. Currently, they are working as an Associate Internal Counsel at Opentrons Labworks Inc., utilizing their legal expertise in an in-house counsel role.

Throughout their career, Kevin also held editorial roles at the Syracuse University Journal of Science and Technology, where they served as a Form & Accuracy Editor and Associate Editor.

Kevin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from New York University in the years 2004 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, which they completed between 2010 and 2012. Kevin furthered their education by attending Syracuse University College of Law from 2017 to 2020, where they successfully earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. In addition to their degrees, Kevin also obtained a Professional Research Certification from LexisNexis in April 2018.
