Brent Moore

Brent Moore has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Brent currently works as the Lead UI/UX Developer at OpenVPN Inc. since 2022. Previously, they worked at Equinix as Staff, Product Software Development from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for front-end development, building an augmented reality app, and providing advice on UX best practices. Before that, Brent was the Senior Manager, Web Development at Bell from 2016 to 2020. Brent also has experience as a Full-Stack Developer during their self-employment period from 2014 to 2016. Brent worked at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) as a Lab Instructor from 2013 to 2016 and as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Full-Stack Developer at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies in 2014 and as a Customer Experience Representative at Indigo from 2011 to 2014. Brent also gained experience in research and development at Turku University of Applied Sciences in 2012 and as a Teaching Assistant at Seneca College in 2012. Brent started their career as an Assistant Manager at Little Caesars from 2006 to 2011, where they managed staff and handled financial responsibilities.

Brent Moore has a diverse educational background in the field of computer science and networking. From 2013 to 2015, they pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Prior to that, Brent completed their Bachelor's degree in Networking & I.T. Security from the same university, from 2009 to 2013. During their undergraduate studies, they also had a Semester Abroad experience at Turku University of Applied Sciences in 2012, focusing on Networking & I.T. Security.

Before entering higher education, Brent attended Courtice Secondary School from 2004 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Brent has obtained two additional certifications. In August 2016, they earned the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification from ServiceNow - The Enterprise Cloud Company. Brent also obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in December 2017.
