Regional Sales Director at OpenWay

Jean-Philippe Wolyniec has extensive work experience in the technology and sales industry. Jean-Philippe is currently working as a Regional Sales Director at OpenWay, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at OSPT Alliance from 2019 to 2021, where they served as the Marketing Working Group Chair, leading the group's efforts to strengthen the organization's position in the transport ticketing industry. Jean-Philippe was also directly involved in a collaboration project with the Calypso Network Association.

From 2016 to 2021, Jean-Philippe worked at FIME as a Sales Director EMEA. In this role, they managed sales teams and played a key role in large and complex sales as well as strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Before FIME, Jean-Philippe worked at Gemalto (now Thales Digital Identity & Security) from 2014 to 2016 as a Business Development Manager Europe. Jean-Philippe focused on developing new business opportunities in the payment and eKYC solutions space and managed partnerships and tenders to select the best providers in the industry. Jean-Philippe was recognized with the Banque & Innovation Award 2016 for Gemalto's Payment-as-a-Service (PaaS) offer.

From 2010 to 2014, Jean-Philippe held various roles at Serverside, a Gemalto Company. Jean-Philippe served as a Senior Sales Manager EMEA and later as a Business Channel Manager, where they focused on developing indirect sales channels and improving portfolio profitability and customer acquisition.

Earlier in their career, Jean-Philippe worked at Gemalto (now Thales Digital Identity & Security) in different roles from 2005 to 2010. Jean-Philippe served as a Product Marketing Manager, where they revamped and repositioned the company's cards' value-added services. Jean-Philippe also worked as a Product/Project Manager, supporting regions globally in pre-sale activities, and as an R&D Engineer, leading a software migration project and managing a team of developers.

Jean-Philippe started their career as an R&D Engineer at VAS Vacuum and Atmosphere Systems from 2001 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2005, Jean-Philippe Wolyniec pursued a Master of Science - MS degree in Electronic and Computer Science at CentraleSupélec.
