Shlomi Green has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 2011, they worked as a Helpdesk Representative at Malam. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Bioinformatician & Laboratory Manager at OutSense, where they coordinated experiments and set up an analytic pipeline. In 2016, they also worked as a Bioinformatician at Ariel University, analyzing sequencing data using various bioinformatic tools.
From 2018 to 2019, Shlomi was a Microbiology Laboratory Teaching Assistant and a Matlab Teaching Assistant at Bar-Ilan University. In 2019, they began a six-month internship as a Nutrition Intern at Kaplan Medical Center, where they wrote and adjusted nutritional plans for patients in various units.
In 2020, Shlomi worked as a Researcher at Noga Therapeutics, conducting wet and dry lab work in the development of gene therapies. Shlomi also led a cooperative machine learning project and analyzed data from lab experiments.
In 2021, they interned as a Data Scientist at WeissBeerger, where they built a robust clustering process for similar stores using unsupervised learning. Shlomi also worked as a Data Science Intern at OpenWeb, estimating user probability to be a 'fly-by' user based on their first encounter using classical machine learning.
Currently, Shlomi is working as a Data Scientist at OpenWeb.
Shlomi Green has a diverse education history with a focus on data science, machine learning, life sciences, molecular biology, and human nutrition. In 2013, they began their academic journey at Ariel University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition in 2017. During this time, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and graduated in 2016.
After completing their undergraduate studies, Shlomi continued their education at Bar-Ilan University from 2017 to 2019. Shlomi pursued a Master of Science degree in Life Sciences, providing him with a deeper understanding of this field.
In 2020, Shlomi enrolled in Israel Tech Challenge (ITC) and studied Data Science and Machine Learning for a year, further developing their skills in these areas.
In addition to their formal education, Shlomi has obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they became a Dietician/Nutritionist certified by the Ministry of Health Israel. In July 2021, they earned the Certified Data Scientist certification from Israel Tech Challenge (ITC). Shlomi also expanded their expertise by completing the Architecting on AWS certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023.
