Roy Hodgman

Roy Hodgman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Roy began their career in 2004 as a Software Engineer at GameLogic Inc. Roy then joined RSA The Security Division of EMC in 2005, where they held the role of Senior Software Engineer until 2011. Hodgman then became a Principal Technologist at RSA for a year before moving to Rapid7 in 2012.

At Rapid7, Hodgman started as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioned into roles that focused on data science. Roy served as a Data Scientist from 2014 to 2016 and then as a Lead Data Scientist from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Hodgman held the position of Data Science Manager before being promoted to Senior Data Science Manager, which they currently hold.

Roy Hodgman completed their education at The Johns Hopkins University. From 1998 to 2002, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following that, from 2003 to 2004, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
