Yuguang Ipsen

Blockchain Security Engineer at OpenZeppelin

Yuguang Ipsen has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne. Yuguang then moved to The Australian National University where they were a Lecturer in Statistics from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, they began working as a Smart Contract Auditor at Growing Data and a Fellow at Code for Australia, where they are working on a project to digitally deliver Energy Saving Scheme with NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. In 2022, they began working as a Blockchain Security Engineer at OpenZeppelin.

Yuguang Ipsen obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from The Australian National University between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore between 2007 and 2011. Yuguang also attended Hwa Chong Institution for Junior College in Sciences between 2005 and 2006. In addition, they have obtained four certifications from Coursera, including Convolutional Neural Networks in February 2019, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization in December 2018, Neural Networks and Deep Learning in December 2018, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects in December 2018.
