Marie Lemaire is an accomplished Digital Learning & Engagement Manager at Opera North since September 2015, specializing in the development and production of digital projects and managing partnerships. Previously, Marie managed the Opera North Youth Company, providing youth training and opportunities. As a soprano and singing teacher since 2006, Marie has performed in concerts across Belgium and the UK while also teaching music. Holding various roles at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2015, Marie coordinated conferences and developed fundraising programs. Earlier experience includes project management for music events with Cambridgeshire County Council and administrative support for Milton Keynes City Orchestra. Marie's educational background includes a Master's in Music Performance from Kingston University and degrees in anthropology and vocal studies from the University of Liège.
