Joanne Li

Joanne Li, Ph.D., CFA, currently serves as the Barbara & Wally Weitz Endowed Chair of Higher Education and Chancellor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and also holds the title of Director at the Omaha Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Joanne Li is an active member of various boards and committees, including the Board of Trustees for the Higher Learning Commission, the Executive Committee of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities, and the Omaha Symphony and Opera Omaha boards. Additionally, Joanne Li is involved with the EFMD Global Network Americas Advisory Board and the CNBC Global Financial Wellness Advisory Council. Joanne Li’s educational background includes a Ph.D. in Finance with a focus on Corporate Governance from Florida State University, along with several leadership and financial management certifications.
