Nicolas Draps is an accomplished violinist and music educator with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Professor of Violin and Chamber Music at Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles since September 2017, Nicolas also performs as a 1st Violinist with Mannheimer Philharmoniker and engages with Kaléïdoscopes Ensemble as a jazz violinist. As part of the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, Nicolas holds the position of Violoniste tuttiste supplémentaire. Additionally, Nicolas has a passion for electric violin performance and composition, collaborating with "Landscape Magazine." Since 2006, Nicolas has also contributed to Ars Machina ASBL and operates as a photographer specializing in portrait and event photography. Educational background includes degrees from the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles and Hochschule für Musik Detmold, highlighting achievements in violin and music.

Our range of made-to-measure events is appreciated by players in all sectors of economic activity, and our constantly expanding packages are aimed at local, national and international audiences alike. For more than a decade, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège has been working for and with young people! Through a whole series of artistic decisions (participatory performances for children and toddlers) but not only (ultra low prices for under 32s, etc.). The aim? To attract young people and create the audiences of tomorrow!
