Jacob Valadez

Jacob Valadez is a seasoned music professional with extensive experience in choral direction and opera performance. Currently serving as the Choir Director at John Marshall High School under Northside ISD since June 2022, Valadez also holds the position of Staff Singer at First Presbyterian Church since August 2019 and has been an Opera Singer with OPERA San Antonio since 2015. Previous roles include Fine Arts Department Chair and Choir Director at Harlandale High School from August 2013 to June 2022, along with various leadership and performance positions at several churches and opera companies. Valadez holds a Master’s degree in Music with a focus on Vocal Performance from Baylor University and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Marketing from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
