Jennifer Mitchell

Artist; Educational Outreach Performer at OPERA SAN JOSE INCORPORATED

Jennifer Mitchell is a versatile professional with extensive experience in music and education. Currently serving as a Professional Chorus member at San Francisco Symphony and an Adjunct Professor of Voice at San Jose State University, Jennifer also works as a Standardized Patient at UCSF Medical Center. As a self-employed musician and music instructor, Jennifer teaches private voice lessons in classical and musical theatre to diverse students. Jennifer's notable performance history includes roles with Opera San Jose, such as Barbarina in "Le nozze di Figaro" and various educational outreach performances. Additionally, Jennifer tutors in test preparation and languages, and has performed in musical theatre revues and productions. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Vocal Performance from San Jose State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Music and Italian Studies from Wellesley College.
