Elin Hjertström

Elin Hjertström is a dedicated program and project manager with extensive experience in the non-profit sector, currently serving as Program Manager at Operation Smile Sweden since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and Program Coordinator at Global Child Forum from February 2020 to February 2023, and a Board Trainee position at Operation 1325 in 2020, where significant contributions were made to organizing digital seminars focused on women youth activism. Elin also interned at Hungerprojektet from September 2019 to January 2020, gaining valuable experience in project development aimed at ending global hunger and poverty. A Minor Field Study scholarship recipient from Sida in early 2019, Elin’s research centered on women’s rights organizations in Ghana. Elin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Development with a focus on International Relations from Stockholm University, completed in 2019.
