Angela Collie Ayers

Angela Collie Ayers, MPA, serves as a US Philanthropy Development Specialist at Operation Smile since October 2022 and is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Valdosta State University since July 2021. Previously, Angela worked as a Full-Time Freelance Grant and Marketing Writer for Gigi Pauline, LLC, and as Donor Relations Manager at Animal Protection of New Mexico, where relationship cultivation and grant proposal drafting were key responsibilities. Angela has experience in development roles at Emory University and The Carter Center, and has held community relations positions at Best Buy, focusing on outreach and community engagement activities. Angela holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, both from Valdosta State University.
