Penny Anderson

Penny Anderson has extensive experience in fundraising and development roles. Penny is currently serving as the Chief Development and External Affairs Officer at Operation Stand Down Tennessee, where they lead the fundraising efforts for the organization. Prior to this, they were the Chief Development Officer at St. Luke's Community House, where they implemented a successful fundraising strategy, increased revenue by 43%, and created new special events. Before that, Penny worked as a Major Gifts Officer at the American Red Cross, managing major gift campaigns and cultivating relationships with major foundations and federated entities. Penny also served as the National Corporate Account Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, managing a $14M national portfolio of corporate donors. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta and as the Chief Development Officer at The Center for Family Resources. Penny has a strong background in grant writing, special events management, and donor cultivation. Penny holds a proven track record of increasing revenue and creating successful fundraising strategies.

Penny Anderson obtained their high school diploma from Harpeth Hall School between 1991 and 1997. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Politics and Philosophy from Oglethorpe University, which they completed between 1997 and 2001.
