Maija Airas completed their Master of Social Sciences in Political Sciences at the University of Helsinki in 1997. Maija has been working at CIMO since September 1998, currently holding the position of Head of Unit. In January 2017, Maija also began working at the Finnish National Agency for Education as Counsellor of Education and Head of Unit. In their previous role, Maija served as Head of Section for Higher Education Cooperation.
