Kent Hill

Kent Hill is an accomplished Optical Physicist with extensive experience in optical remote sensing and laser radar at Ophir Corporation since March 2005. Prior to this role, Kent served as a System Engineer at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, focusing on high-power laser system engineering. Kent's expertise was further honed as a Senior Research Engineer at Montana State University, where development of high-speed optical data storage techniques was conducted. Earlier experience includes an Electrical Engineer position at the Naval Research Laboratory, specializing in secure optical networking technologies, and a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Kent completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering. Kent holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
