Gerard D'Aversa Od

Gerard D'Aversa, OD, is an experienced optometrist currently practicing at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island since July 2018. Prior to this role, Gerard D'Aversa completed an optometry internship at the SUNY Specialty Contact Lens Clinic, focusing on fitting medically necessary contact lenses for a diverse population in New York City, and served as an optometry extern at New York Vision Group, where management of ocular diseases was undertaken under supervision, along with observation of retinal surgeries. Gerard D'Aversa holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Manhattan University.
