Carol Kilgore

Carol Kilgore's work experience begins in 2000 with a role as a US Securities Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. From there, they worked as a Corporate Associate at Kirkland & Ellis, Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, and Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP. In 2012, they became a Senior Corporate Associate at CMS UK. Carol then held interim positions as an IP Lawyer at BT, Technology Legal Counsel at BGC Partners, and Commercial Technology Lawyer at MUFG SECURITIES EMEA PLC. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Legal at Opia.

Carol Kilgore completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies from Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1995. Carol then pursued their Doctor of Law (JD) degree at Georgetown University Law Center from 1996 to 1999.

In terms of additional certifications, Carol became an Attorney certified by the DC Bar in February 2006. Carol obtained the certification of Solicitor - England and Wales from The Law Society in March 2004. In addition, Carol became an Attorney and a member of the New York Bar, certified by the N.Y.S. Supreme Court | Appellate Division | Fourth Department in April 2000.
