Daniel Kyne has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2014 as a founding member of the Digital Youth Council, where they played a key role in advocating for computer science adoption in education. In 2015, they joined the Union of Students Ireland as the Startup Pitch Competition Co-Ordinator for the annual Student Summit. From 2016 to 2018, Daniel worked at the Dublin Tech Summit, first as the Head of Startups & Investors, bringing 100 early-stage companies to exhibit at the conference, and later as the Head of Speakers, managing over 200 speakers and achieving a high percentage of female speakers. In 2017, they became a Global Facilitator for Techstars, hosting Startup Weekend events around the world. In 2018, Daniel joined Unilever, where they served as the Fast Track Innovation Lead for Ice Cream UK, successfully launching a brand and product in the market. Daniel then transitioned to the role of Digital Lead for the Refreshments Category UK, driving digital change across ice cream and tea brands. Since 2017, Daniel has also been a part of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers, participating in various events and retreats. Most recently, they co-founded and became the CEO of OpinionX in late 2019.
Daniel Kyne attended Scoil Dara in Kilcock from 2010 to 2016, where they completed their high school education in the field of Post-Primary Education. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Innovation & Technology at Dublin City University from 2016 to 2020.
