Charles Bishop

Charles Bishop is the current CEO of OPKO Renal at OPKO Health. Charles has held this position since March 2013. Prior to this, they were the President, CEO, and Director of Cytochroma Inc. from June 2006 to March 2013. Before that, they were with Proventiv Therapeutics, Inc. Their previous position was with Bone Care International, Inc. where they served as President, CEO, Director, Executive Vice President, and CSO from September 1987 to June 2005.

Charles Bishop completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Vitamin D Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Charles then earned their PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry from Virginia Tech. Charles completed their undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the University of Virginia. Charles attended high school at Deerfield Academy.
