Rahul Vemulapally

Rahul Vemulapally is an experienced leader in product management and risk assessment, currently serving as Vice President of Product Management - Decisioning at Oportun since April 2018, following roles as Vice President of Credit Risk and Fraud and Senior Director of Alternate Products, Risk. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Risk at PayJoy, where Rahul developed decision frameworks and collections strategies for smartphone financing, and Director of Risk Management at Oportun, implementing cost-optimizing underwriting strategies. Rahul's early career involved analytics and research positions at Fractal Analytics, Virginia Tech, IIT Madras, and Larsen & Toubro Limited. Rahul holds a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from Virginia Tech and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras.
