Alina Cheung

Alina Cheung is an accomplished professional in business strategy and development with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. since June 2019, Alina has previously held the role of Executive Director in the same organization. Prior to this, Alina worked at Credit Suisse from August 2014 to June 2019 as Director of Investment Banking Global Strategy. Additionally, Alina co-founded a retail startup, Terracotta New York, from April 2012 to June 2019. Earlier experience includes various positions at Credit Suisse, including Associate in Securities Client Management and Analyst in Consumer & Retail Investment Banking. Alina began a career in finance as a Summer Analyst at Credit Suisse and an intern at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Alina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University, where studies were completed from 2004 to 2007, and also attended The George Washington University from 2003 to 2004.
