John Lawler

John Lawler is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in institutional sales and fixed income. Since August 2019, John has served as Executive Director of Investments in Regional Institutional Sales at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Prior to this role, John was a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley from February 2013 to August 2019, and held the same title at UBS from May 1991 to February 2013. Earlier in John's career, a Vice President Portfolio Trader position was held at Peoples Bank from June 1988 to May 1991, following an internship at Peoples Savings Bank in 1986-1987. John Lawler earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fairfield University between 1983 and 1987, after graduating from Cumberland High School in 1983.
