Mike Phillips

Mike Phillips, MBA, ACAS, currently serves as Managing Director and Insurance Analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. since 2023, following a brief tenure as Founder and President of Investors' Actuarial Services, LLC. Phillips has a diverse background in the insurance and finance sectors, previously holding the position of Executive Director at Morgan Stanley from 2016 to 2022, and prior roles including Director at United Fire Group, Consulting Actuary at Milliman Consultants and Actuaries SL, and VP Equity Research at Stifel Nicolaus. Additionally, Phillips has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Towson University and Notre Dame of Maryland University from 2010 to 2016. Educational credentials include a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Bucknell University and an MBA in Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
