Fábio Neves

Fábio Neves began their career in 2007 as an Assistant Brand and Sales Manager at Henkel Ibérica. In 2008, they worked as a Trainee Marketing & PR at Mitsubishi Motors Portugal. Fábio then worked as an Office Manager at Critical Links in 2009. From 2010 to 2017, Fábio Neves held various consultant roles at MetaCase - Optimizing Financial Flows, including process auditing, functional analysis, and specifications. In 2017, they became an Analyst and KPI Specialist at BNP Paribas, where they were responsible for preparing presentations and dashboards related to the GFS Application Support team. In 2019, they were a Data Scientist - Poker at bet365, working on optimizing existing reports and developing new tools. In 2018, they began writing for Towards Data Science as a Contributing Writer, writing about Data Science and sharing Python tutorials. Finally, in 2021, Fábio Neves became a Business Data Analyst at Opplane, working on digital solutions to enhance the data capabilities of their clients.

Fábio Neves completed a Bachelor's Degree in Management at Nova School of Business and Economics from 2002 to 2007. Fábio also attended SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2005 to 2006. In 2016, they obtained a Data Scientist's Toolbox certification from Coursera. Fábio then completed a Postgraduate in Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence at NOVA IMS Information Management School from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they obtained certifications from Lynda.com in Excel 2016: Advanced Formulas and Functions, Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Essential Training, and Advanced Google Analytics. Fábio also obtained a certification from Khan Academy in Intro to SQL: Querying and managing data. In 2018, they obtained a Python Data Science Toolbox (Part 2) certification from DataCamp. In 2019, they obtained a Data Scientist w/ Python Certification (26 courses) and Supervised Learning with scikit-learn certifications from DataCamp. In 2021, they obtained certifications from Coursera in DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization, Sequences, Time Series and Prediction, Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow, and Convolutional Neural Networks in Tensor Flow, as well as an Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence certification from Coursera in 2020. Fábio also obtained a C2 Proficiency - Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) certification from Cambridge Assessment English in 2005.
