Zibo Meng

Zibo Meng is a Principal Research Engineer at OPPO since May 2018, where significant contributions include the development of an AI model for low-light video enhancement in the RAW domain, which was integrated into OPPO's first generation chip and subsequently featured in the OPPO Find X5 and other devices. Zibo has a robust background in AI model development for low-light image enhancement and has held various positions, including Manager and Senior Staff Research Engineer. Prior experience includes research assistant roles at the University of South Carolina, an internship at Philips, and a position at HERE focusing on sign detection using convolutional neural networks, leading to the granting of a U.S. patent. Zibo holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Carolina, a Master's Degree from Zhejiang University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Optical Engineering from Changchun University of Science and Technology.
