Lissa Stranahan

Lissa Stranahan currently serves as the Director of Special Education at Lafayette School Corporation and as an Adjunct Instructor in the School of Education at Indiana University Kokomo. Stranahan has diverse experience in educational leadership, previously working as a Behavior Support Specialist at Opportunities for Positive Growth, Inc., and as the Director for Greater Lafayette Area Special Services. Prior roles include serving as the Director of Exceptional Learners and Testing at Western School Corporation, Assistant Principal at Western High School and Western Middle School, and Chemistry and Physics Teacher at Maconaquah High School. Lissa Stranahan holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from Ball State University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at Indiana University Bloomington.
